I just read that we are getting new money bills printed in Sweden from 2015 which is all very exciting! I really like the new designs, here they are:
Astrid Lindgren – probably my favourite author of all time, she literally changed the way I looked at the world when growing up.
Evert Taube – singer, author, artist
Greta Garbo – perhaps Sweden’s most famous actress
Ingmar Bergman – the best film director there ever was?
Birgit Nilsson – a celebrated soprano singer
Dag Hammarskjöld – a popular Swedish diplomat
Very nationalist no ? But nice design !!!
Sweden could really learn to be more proud of their country, they’re usually too busy to talk about all the negative things lately :)
